Meet the families who help guide and support Creed Classical School.
Tyler and Lindsey McCaffety
Tyler has a BA in Banking and Finance from Sam Houston State University. He currently runs K & G Capital Mortgage’s branch in Huntsville. Tyler enjoys being a part of the worship team at church and served on Huntsville’s City Council from 2016-2018. Lindsey received her BA in English with a minor in Political Science from Sam Houston State University. Lindsey has been a volunteer at the local pregnancy crisis center, serves in children’s ministry and has been a leader for organizations that seek to see biblical policies upheld at all levels government. Tyler and Lindsey have three children that will attend Creed Classical. The McCaffety family has attended Fellowship of Huntsville Church for the last 8 years.
Jason and Rachel Neathery
Jason and Rachel grew up in Huntsville, Texas. Jason has a bachelor’s degree in business from Sam Houston State University. He owns and operates a custom home building business, JW Neathery, Inc with his father. Rachel has a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education from Sam Houston State University. She was a stay at home mom until their children were in school and then taught at their children’s school for four years. Jason and Rachel have four kids that attend Creed Classical. As a family, they enjoy camping, hunting and being outdoors. Their kids are active in baseball, basketball and volleyball. They attend Fellowship of Huntsville and serve in the children’s department from time to time.
John David and Kristin Nicholson
John David, who grew up in Huntsville, has a BS, MS, and DVM from Texas A&M University. He owns and practices mixed animal veterinary medicine at Walker County Veterinary Center. Kristin has a BS, MS, and PhD in Animal Science from Texas A&M University. Kristin currently teaches Animal Science at Sam Houston State University. They are active members of Fellowship of Huntsville Church and serve regularly in children’s ministry. John David and Kristin have three boys attending Creed that are active in the community playing basketball, baseball and showing animals at the Walker County Fair.
Kody and Kari Waters
Kody and Kari grew up in Northeast Texas and moved to Huntsville in 2018. Kody has a BS in Agriculture Business from Louisiana Tech University. Kody is the Superintendent and State Park Police Officer at Huntsville State Park. Kari has a BS in Psychology from Texas A&M University- Texarkana. Kari teaches kindergarten. They attend University Heights Baptist Church, where Kody is a deacon, and both serve regularly in the children's ministry. Kody and Kari have three children, two of whom will attend Creed Classical School.
